It is Shaking My Booty...I Swear!

DECEMBER MADNESS

Well, it started off right after Thanksgiving, we got a tree from Grandpa and Lynne and begun decorating. We hung all of our yearly ornaments and the stocking - there are 5 now!!! Then on December 5 we went to see Santa Skydive with Brock and his family. It was so cool. Mommy and Daddy were skeptical, but they ended up cheering too! Then we took pictures with Santa when he landed!
Speaking of Santa, we saw him later that night at Auntie Jenise's Annual Christmas Party. I had so much fun playing with Will, Oli, and the other kids. I stayed in the "video game room" most of the time. Joe gave Will and I some pointers on the old Nintendo machine. I had a blast pretending to know what I was doing. Then Santa came and gave us gifts. As always, I hugged and talked to Santa. Will was shy, but I could tell he was excited. Will and I got awesome trucks that we have yet to put down. Then it was time for the Grown up Gift Exchange. We kids watched a movie. The Exchange was Entertaining as always and this year Mommy got i Tunes, I mean Mommy AND Daddy won iTunes...
On Monday, we went to Broadway Plaza, looked at the Big Tree and got hot chocolate with Omi and Oma. It was sooooo cold, but the coco was yummy.
Then Wednesday, December 9 was Oli's birthday. It was at Just My Party. They had a rock climbing wall. I put on the gear several times to attempt the task, but just couldn't do it. Maybe I have Mommy's fear of heights??? I did enjoy the bounce house, slide, and my favorite - Air Hockey. Wilsey loved the Lego Table, Busy Block Station, and the non bounce, Bounce House. Sarah just liked being held! Then on Saturday it was my birthday party at Oma's house. It was a Transformer Party. Oma's house is decorated for Christmas. We loved watching her train and tree go around and around. I got a new shirt for my party with Bumblebee on it and my name and the number 4 because I am 4! The Bounce House was late, but that did not stop me from having fun with my friends. The pinata was great, the food was great, and I had a fabulous time!!

On Sunday, I shared cupcakes with my Sunday School class and they sang to me in Primary. Then we went to Auntie Jenise's birthday. My friends from the Christmas Party were there. We had a fun time looking for "monsters".
On Tuesday, it was Daddy's birthday. I woke him up in the morning with "Happy Birthday". Then we went to Oma's and had dinner and Baskin Robbins cake. Daddy got the Wii. I can't wait to play with him.
We also made Gingerbread Men!!Then the strange part. Mommy and Daddy woke me up on Wednesday and sang "Happy Birthday" to me. I think they forget I already had my birthday. They kept telling me it was my real birthday... They got me a knight costume and made me waffles for breakfast. So, it was worth the confusion! I have not taken it off, except to bathe. Well then, I brought cupcakes to school and they sang "Happy Birthday" to me too. It was a wonderfully confusing day!!! And this month is only half over!!!!Sarah Update: Yaya is happy as always! She is rolling all around!! And she laughs!!She loves her Omi, she could talk to her forever!!

Thanksgiving

As our tradition, Thanksgiving morning, Mommy and Nana ran the Turkey Trot and I ran the Kids Race. This year, the Turkey Trot was not at the gym, it was in Civic Park and it was HUGE!! There were people everywhere. And my race this year was 100 yards. I do not take after Mommy, I am more of a sprinter. This distance was too long, but I did get a ribbon and a shirt. It was terrific.
After the Turkey Trot, we went over to Oma's house. Cohen was there. We had so much fun together. Uncle Mark took our family pictures. He did an awesome job. Daddy got all artsy in the backyard and tried to rearrange the bench. It was hilarious watching him try to pick it up!!
Well, Mommy did not take a lot of pictures, so I helped out and took pictures. Mommy and Daddy went to Black Friday, we had to stay home. Daddy bought Wilsey and me an awesome cookie. Wilsey can never eat anything cleanly.Sarah loved the attention and she chatted with Oma and Omi all weekend!

The Zoo with the Navones

Oli had Thanksgiving week off of school, so we got to go to the Oakland Zoo with Nana, Auntie Hilary, Tom, Joe, and Amelia. We had a lot of fun. Wilsey also got to go on the rides for the first time. He loved it!!Tom and Joe had their first Merry Go Round experience -Joe was not impressed!! We finished off with a ride on the train!

Mommy, Daddy, and Sarah went to Vegas & All We Got...

were these AWESOME lollipops! Not only did we get to spend the WHOLE weekend with Nana, but we got candy (as if Nana didn't give us any!).
Mommy and Daddy went with Auntie Jenise and all her friends to celebrate her recovery after her car accident. They had a great time. They were VIPs in all the clubs and restaurants. Daddy met some bunnies?? They traded off going out and staying with Sarah. Sarah did well, but she didn't like the loud "party bus". She needed my headphones!! Mommy got to workout in a fancy spa. Doesn't sound like we missed much of anything - although I am a little peeved I didn't get to go to the airport!!
They stayed at the PalazzoIn front of the restaurant in the Palms, before Daddy went to "play with boys and met bunnies"??In the party bus...Mommy and Daddy were happy to get some "alone" time.Sarah before the "melt down" - at least she looked cute!

Thank you Auntie Jenise!

Sarah is Blessed

Sarah was blessed on November 15. I know, I know, she was already blessed to have two wonderful brothers, but she was blessed in the Church. She got a beautiful dress from Oma and a beautiful blessing from Daddy - with Uncle Jim, Uncle Dave, and Uncle Alex. Nana, Oma, Omi, and Uncle Alex came. Then we had a party at Oma's house after with all of the Leals and Lucias. It was great. I got to play with Little "Jofus".
